Carnegie Hall Premiere of Trotta Requiem
Highlights include Trotta Requiem conducted by the composer and the world premiere of his Five Psalms with participating choirs from across the United States. This performance features the New England Symphonic Ensemble under the direction of Michael John Trotta, Larry Bach, Bradley D. Vogel, and Daniel McDavitt.

New A Cappella Works to Premiere in St. Peter’s Rome
In June of 2024, 5 new a cappella works will be premiered in Italy. Among them, several will be chosen for performance at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, Rome, Italy.
UK Concerts Commemorating Death and Dying Awareness Week May 2024
A week of concerts in the are currently being planned in conjunction with Death and Dying Awareness Week in the UK 6 May - 13 May, 2024. Michael John Trotta’s passion setting, Seven Last Words, was commissioned through the efforts of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians. It is set for SATB choir and soloists, with a full symphonic version available. Churches of modest means will be particularly interested, however, in the chamber orchestration.

"Trotta’s Seven Last Words repeatedly uses two musical motifs to achieve a remarkable degree of compositional unity. The first is a combination of two ascending intervals, a perfect fith and a second higher (usually a minor second but sometimes major), and the second is four notes in a descending scalar passage. This article introduces readers to this new work by examining each movement in turn and by discussing salient musical excerpts from the score, pointing out the frequent uses of these unifying motifs.”
