Pace High School Varsity Women’s Choir

The Pace High School Varsity Women’s choir consists of 10th-12th grade students and represents half of the Viking Chorale, the premiere mixed ensemble of the 200-member Pace High School Choral Program. The Varsity Women perform and compete at least 4 times per year, both independently and as part of Chorale, consistently earning sweepstakes awards at UIL contests and other state festivals. Members of the Varsity Women’s Choir have performed in venues such as St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, LA, as well as Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Varsity Women are actively involved in the Texas All-State auditions, earning chairs in the District, Region and All-State choirs. They also compete in the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest, consistently receiving superior ratings. Students from this organization are excellent students, athletes and musicians. Its members are involved in various activities such as Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Dance, TAFE, HOSA, NHS and Band to name a few. The Varsity women also consistently rank in the top 10 percent of their respective classes, many ranking as high as 1st and 2nd in their class.
